The EU Ecolabel is awarded to lubricants respecting strict environmental criteria on decreasing negative impacts on biodiversity and reduced use of harmful substances.
This EU Ecolabel product group includes any lubricant that falls under the sub-categories of Total Loss Lubricants (TLL), Partial Loss Lubricants (PLL) or Accidental Loss Lubricants (ALL).
The EU Ecolabel guarantees that lubricants have a limited impact on the aquatic environment, contain a restricted quantity of hazardous substances, and perform as well as or better than a conventional lubricant available on the market. They are also in line with the objectives of the European strategy for plastics by fixing a minimum 25% plastic recycled content in packaging.
